Aya Beach Resort is a small beachfront resort in Kizimkazi, on the southern tip of Zanzibar, with Mediterranean-style buildings, a garden and a terrace beside white sand. It is a short walk to Kizimkazi Beach.
It is a quiet, relaxed place for a beach stay, with a pool, a beachfront restaurant, a spa and a firepit, and a good base for couples and for guests who want to be close to the water.

Beach and water
The resort has sun loungers, umbrellas and towels on its own stretch of beach, and a beach volleyball court. Diving, snorkelling, windsurfing, fishing and horse riding are available nearby.
Dolphin-watching
Kizimkazi is known for boat trips to see dolphins, which we can arrange from the resort.
Spa and firepit
Massages can be booked in advance, and evenings are easy beside the firepit.
Access & location
The resort is in Kizimkazi, about an hour’s drive from Zanzibar Airport. We arrange your transfers and can combine Zanzibar with a safari on the mainland.

Rooms were renovated in 2022 and have a balcony or patio, air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a safe and free Wi-Fi. Choose from comfort and deluxe doubles and twins, a one-bedroom Signature Villa with a sea view, or the Romantic Quadruple. There are no cots, and children under five stay free using existing bedding. We confirm the room mix for your dates when we quote.
