Mara Serena Safari Lodge
Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya
Mara Serena Safari Lodge is a large lodge in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, built on a hill in the style of a Maasai village and looking out across the savannah towards the Mara River.
With a pool, a spa and a wide choice of activities on site, it suits families and guests who like the comforts of a full lodge rather than a small tented camp.
On a hill in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, with views across the savannah and down to the Mara River.
Seventy-four en-suite rooms with Maasai-inspired décor, plus a Mara Suite.
Pool with river views, spa, restaurant, bar, campfire, activity desk and Wi-Fi.
Game drives, night drives, guided walks, birdwatching, balloon flights and village visits.

Game drives and night drives
Day and night drives explore the reserve, and there is a game-viewing hide for quieter watching.

Guided walks and birdwatching
Guided walks and birdwatching add a slower pace to the day.

Escarpment hike
After a 7:30 breakfast you drive about an hour to the Ololoolo escarpment for a hike of roughly four kilometres with a 290-metre climb, then return to the lodge for lunch.

Balloon safari and village visit
A hot air balloon flight is available at extra cost, and you can arrange a visit to a Maasai village.
