Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge is a traditional stone-built lodge in Tsavo West National Park, with views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the Chyulu Hills. Its dining terrace and many of its rooms overlook a waterhole.
The lodge has two pools, a spa and a children’s playground, and is a good stop for watching wildlife from the terrace as well as exploring Tsavo West by vehicle or on foot.

Game drives and nature walks explore Tsavo West, and there are hiking and biking trails with bike hire.
Mzima Springs and lava flows
Mzima Springs and the Shetani lava flow are each within roughly half an hour’s drive, and we can build them into your day.
Access & location
The lodge is inside Tsavo West National Park, and you should let the lodge know your arrival time because late arrivals can be stopped at the park gate. We arrange your transfers and can combine Tsavo West with Amboseli or the coast.

The central dining room opens onto a stone terrace above the waterhole, and there is a bar and lounge, a spa with massages, facials and body wraps, an outdoor pool with a separate children’s pool, a playground and an on-site art gallery. Wi-Fi is free in the rooms and public areas. There is no lift.
