Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
Your guide will welcome you to Entebbe and assist with your transfer to your hotel in Entebbe. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a walk along the beach or a swim in Uganda’s famous lake. You can also explore the local food markets of Entebbe. Have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Wake up early for your flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you will be spending the next two nights. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park lies in Southwestern Uganda on the edge of the Rift Valley. It stretches 321 km2 and sits at 1,160m – 2,607m above sea level. Its mist-covered hillsides are blanketed by one of Uganda’s oldest and most diverse rainforests. The forest dates back over 25,000 years and contains almost 40 species of plants.
Upon landing at Kihihi Airstrip, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and transfer you to your lodge. Spend your afternoon at leisure. Take in the scenery, visit the spa or enjoy a sunset drink on your private viewing deck.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
This is the day you have been waiting for. Wake up with the sun and meet your guide for a briefing. Then trek deep into the jungle in search of endangered mountain gorillas. These sensitive creatures are surprisingly exclusive, leaving the path and duration of your trek somewhat up to fate.
With the help of your expert local guide, you quietly navigate the dense forest. Watch for birdlife and other species as you pick your way through vegetated trails. Eventually, the strenuous trek will pay off when you discover a gorilla family-seemingly out of nowhere, going about their daily routines.
Adult gorillas chew lazily on the surrounding vegetation and gaze amicably at the guests. Juvenile gorillas tumble and play in the undergrowth, learning important life skills. After one hour, leave the habituated family in peace to retrace your steps back to the lodge.

Day 4: Departure – Flight back to Entebbe
Enjoy a fresh, delicious breakfast at your lodge overlooking the mountains and pristine forest below this morning. Take some time to reflect on the once-in-a-lifetime journey you have experienced before heading to the airstrip for your flight back to Entebbe. From Entebbe, connect with your international departure flight home.
